Are you licensed?
The Owners of Messbarger Property Management are both licensed agents. Mark Messbarger is a licensed broker in the state of Kansas. -
Can I reach you after hours?
Our operating hours are Monday through Friday from 8-5, however if an emergency arises, we provide contact information to get ahold of us outside of normal business hours! -
Can you put the money directly into my account?
We ACH owner funds monthly directly into your bank account. -
Do I get to see the lease or sign it?
You will have access to the lease to review once it has been fully executed. -
Do you sell real estate too?
Yes we do! We often help investors purchase rental properties and then manage the property as well! -
How and when do I get my checks?
Owners will not receive physical checks, only ACH transfers. You receive them on the 5th of every month. -
How is rent collection handled?
Messbarger Property Management collects the rent on your behalf and deposits it into an operating account. These funds are then sent to your bank account monthly. -
How long of a lease do you sign?
Ideally, our lease terms are 12 months. Depending on the situation, the can be longer or shorter to meet the needs of the Owner or identified tenant. -
How much security deposit do you charge the tenant?
We charge one month’s rent for a security deposit. -
How soon can you start managing my property?
We have outlined an onboarding process for new Owners to ensure they have the best experience during this transition. Once the onboarding process is complete, we will start managing your home! -
What type of properties do you manage?
We manage single family and multi family housing. -
What type of reports do I get and how often?
Owners receive monthly income statements that itemize your income and expenses. You also receive access to receipts that correspond to the expenses. Owners also receive access to Year End reporting for tax purposes. -
Who holds the tenant security deposit?
Messbarger Property Management holds security deposits in a separate account apart from the operating funds.
